Job Title: Development ManagerLocation: Cusco, Peru (in-person role)Hours: 40 hrs weekly (flexible)Gross salary: S/ 3,300 to S/ 3,500 per month based on experience.Benefits: Economy flight reimbursement (if relocation is needed) and S/1,000 relocation allowance.About us:Latin American Foundation for the Future is a young and dynamic organisation based in Cusco, Peru. We support and work with local partners to promote quality education and personal development among Cusco’s young people in situation of vulnerability.About the role:LAFF's Development Manager is responsible for stewarding and managing the organisation's donor and partner relations and expanding its local and international network, creating new opportunities for fundraising andpartnerships, while being responsible for LAFF’s financial stability, brand image and visibility on different channels. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, relationship management expertise, and experiencefundraising from different sources, including institutions, private donors, corporate partners, and events. Furthermore, the candidate is creative, proactive and thinks out of the box.Tasks and responsibilities:Research and secure new funding opportunities, including grants, corporate supporters and campaigns.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors, including individuals, trusts, foundations, universities and corporate partners.Write and submit high-quality proposals and timely donor reports to ensure consistent income and long-term partnerships.Monitor LAFF’s finances in collaboration with the Finance Trustee in the UK and the accounting team in Peru.Plan and oversee fundraising and outreach events with the support of the Events and Campaigns Volunteer Coordinator.Lead LAFF’s communications strategy, ensuring consistent and accurate representation of our values and priorities, with the support of the Communications Volunteer Coordinator.Collect and analyse fundraising and communications data to track progress and report to the Board.Maintain updated donor and fundraising databases.Develop and maintain international and local partnerships that strengthen LAFF’s mission and visibility.Implement LAFF’s recruitment strategy and contribute to the successful delivery of the organisation’s strategic plan.Requirements:Advanced spoken and written English and Spanish.Academic qualification and/or professional experience in fundraising or corporate communications.Experience writing grant applications to trusts, foundations and privatedonors.Understanding of the international fundraising landscape andopportunities.Experience running fundraising campaigns targeting institutions,individuals and other donor groups.Experience running fundraising events in person and remotely.Familiarity with donor relations/CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; leadership and teamwork.Analytical mindset and attention to detail.Ability to network and grow new partnerships; creative, out-of-the-box thinking.Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and meet pressing deadlines.Motivation for working in international development, especially promoting education and personal development as a tool for social change.Peruvian nationality.Desirable:Experience raising funds in the UK and liaising with Britishstakeholders.Knowledge of graphic design tools.Experience drafting and developing fundraising strategies; proven record of funds mobilisation.Experience fundraising for education and personal development projects.How to apply:Send your CV (in English & Spanish) to info@laffcharity.org.uk with the subject line “Your Name – LAFF Development Manager 2025” and fill out the Application Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScSRQ1kZUZ-8skkn1BBInHcPW5C9WAC3QWNzusYoGoYwytRnQ/viewform?usp=preview
