As our services grow, you'll work on large-scale system development and operations, gaining valuable experience.This role involves leading the development of Rakuten Cash, an electronic money service integrated into platforms like Rakuten Pay App and Rakuten Ichiba. You'll tackle challenges like service performance, quality requirements, large-scale data handling, and complex financial business logic, making it a great opportunity to grow as an application engineer.You'll also collaborate with business and planning teams from the early stages of projects, shaping services and improving them based on customer feedback.PositionWhy We HireThe scale of our business is greatly expanding in line with the expansion of cashless operations. We are looking for people who can create the future together.Position DetailsWe would like to assign you the role of Project Lead for our development project.You will be responsible for the upstream processes of development, including support for planning, requirements definition, basic design, vendor management, test planning/promotion, and release.You will be accountable for the quality, cost, and schedule of the project.Our company's services involve integration with various systems, so your role will also include technical coordination with other system departments within the Rakuten Group, external business partners, and system development vendors.As a service provider, we are looking for someone who can work not only on development but also with an awareness of improving overall service quality, taking into account system operation efficiency and the needs of the business department.Work EnvironmentThe ages of the people in the organization range from their 20s ~ 40s.The development team is diverse, with 70–80% of the team coming from overseas.Employee Background: Many team members have experience in developing web services and business systems.Rewards and Appeal You can gain experience in the development and maintenance of mission-critical services and large-scale, high-traffic systems.
