Job DescriptionThe Physical Security Office Administrator oversees the execution and development of safety and security practices and operations in alignment with organizational processes and standards. This role is responsible for a variety of tactical operations, clerical and organizational tasks related to access control, incident reporting, and departmental administration.Key Responsibilities:Develop strong partnerships with property management personnel.Manage the issuance, tracking, and deactivation of access badges and keys.Respond to employee and visitor access requests.Respond to onsite incidents, recommend corrective actions, and track accurate safety and security metrics.Identify and assess physical security risks, translating them into actionable tasks for the organizationFacilitate and respond to inquiries related to physical security policies and procedures.Tactically lead event security operationsAssist with documentation and filing incident reports and investigationsCoordinate equipment procurement and maintain office inventoryProvide daily physical and administrative security support while interfacing with both internal stakeholders and external visitors.Identify and assess physical security risks, and translate them into actionable tasks for the organization.Assist with administrative security tasks, including managing visitor check-in, maintaining equipment inventory records, and tracking security office specific spend.Investigate security incidents and breaches and recommend corrective actions.Follow up on incidents and write Incident Reports.Reinforce company security standards with onsite personnel - such as badge and visitor compliance.Write standard security operating procedures applicable to the site and in alignment with global standards.Operate independently within a corporate environment under the directives of Client Security Management to build a robust security postureDevelop strong partnerships with property management and security teams.Operate within the directives of Client Security Management to build a robust security posture.Provide regular updates to Physical Security Management relative to site operations.Support offsite events (as needed)Qualifications:3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in physical securityStrong knowledge of physical security best practices, systems, and technologiesExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to diverse audiencesAbility to work independently and make sound decisions under pressureFlexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed for special events or emergenciesGuard Card issued in the state in which the individual is employed – preferredStrong writing skills (e.g. guidelines, procedural, and policy development).Exception in google suite (docs, sheets, slides, meet).
