DevOps Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe DevOps Engineer will be responsible for:● Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelinesin accordance with best practices and security standards throughout the developmentlifecycle● Managing and optimizing containerized applications and orchestration systems tosupport machine learning models and data processing workloads● Collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to ensure reliable,scalable infrastructure that supports data pipelines, simulations, and model trainingenvironments● Building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for reproducible and automateddeployments across development, staging, and production environments● Establishing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for infrastructureand application performance● Establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines and automation to enable rapid, reliabledeployments with minimal downtime● Implementing security best practices, access controls, and compliance standards acrosscloud infrastructure● Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and providing operational support for productionsystemsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR● A passion for building reliable, scalable infrastructure that enables the energy transition● 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering witha proven track record of managing production systems● Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud infrastructuremanagement● Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestrationplatforms (ECS, K8s, or similar)● Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tools● Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)● Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms (Datadog, Grafana, orsimilar)● Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages● Solid understanding of database systems and their operational requirements● B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, an engineering discipline, a related field, orequivalent professional experience● A creative problem-solver with outstanding communication skills and a commitment tooperational excellence● Intellectual curiosity and a drive to continuously improve infrastructure and processes
