SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our Firco Insight team, responsible for managing and evolving a complex CI/CD pipeline that spans Octopus Deploy, GitHub, and AWS infrastructure. This role will focus on customizing, stabilizing, and automating deployment workflows across 50+ environments and 400+ servers.ResponsibilitiesCustomize and stabilize CI/CD pipelines using Octopus Deploy and GitHub Actions with a focus on securityCreate and update deployment scripts using PowerShellAssist in troubleshooting existing configurations relating to Terraform and AnsibleCollaborate with development and SRE teams to streamline deployment processes and reduce manual interventionManage secrets using AWS KMSWrite and maintain reusable scripts and templates for deployment automationRequired Experience5+ years in DevOps rolesHands-on experience with Octopus Deploy or similar deployment orchestration toolsStrong scripting skills in PowerShellSolid understanding of GitHub workflows and GitHub ActionsExperience with AWS services and architectureProven ability to troubleshoot complex deployment issues across Windows/Linux environmentsPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Terraform, Ansible, and DockerKnowledge of logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Filebeat, CloudWatch)Exposure to F# or other functional programming languagesStrong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersSRE experience would be a nice to haveIdeal Candidate TraitsSelf-starter with a passion for automation and continuous improvementAble to think outside the box and propose secure, scalable solutionsComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentAbility to learn how the pieces fit together and document and communicate that knowledge within DevOps and other tech teams
