As our DevOps Engineer, you’ll design reliable infrastructure, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth deployments that keep our systems running at scale.Your RoleYou design, automate, and maintain the infrastructure that powers CedarDB.You set up, manage, and optimize our Linux-based systems across different hosting providers such as Hetzner, AWS, and GCP.You implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes, building reproducible environments.You develop and refine CI/CD pipelines on GitHub to enable continuous delivery of our software.You implement monitoring and observability based on OpenTelemetry, improving system stability and visibility.You collaborate closely with our engineering teams to remove bottlenecks, improve reliability, and help CedarDB scale faster.Your ProfileIT professional (e.g. ”Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration” in Germany) or a degree in computer science or a related fieldSolid background in Linux setup, administration, and troubleshootingExpertise in scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automating workflows and reducing manual tasksHands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes)Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and the software development lifecycleStrong understanding of cloud environments Knowledge of monitoring and observability toolsExperience in database administration (PostgreSQL) is a plusFluent in English, German proficiency preferredIndependent, structured work style with a proactive and collaborative hands-on mindsetWhat we offer:Full-time position (40 hours per week)Attractive salary: 60,000 - 80,000 € / yearFlexible working hours and remote work (occasional office presence for network/IT setup required)30 days of vacationYoung company with flat hierarchiesAdditional benefits:Professional development: One week per year to enhance your skills; attend conferences, meet-ups, training courses, etc. of your choiceFitness: Sponsored membership with EGYM WellpassPublic Transport: Deutschlandticket JobticketRetirement: Subsidized company pension plan (”betriebliche Altersvorsorge” in German)Team: Regular team events & strong team spiritOffice: Central location at Munich Central Station, free snacks, fresh fruit, and beverages
