DevOps Team Lead

We’re looking for a DevOps Team Lead to join one of the DevOps teams focused on infrastructure and Cloud Support services. If you’re a hands-on leader who values clear communication and collaboration across teams, this role will give you the opportunity to shape processes, support scalable infrastructure, and drive impactful improvements in a global environment.Our client operates in US time zones, so the work schedule involves evening hours to accommodate business meetings and team syncs.ResponsibilitiesMaintain effective and consistent communication with multiple teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery of infrastructure-related initiatives.Review and approve infrastructure-related pull requests and application deployments, ensuring best practices are followed before production deploymentOversee task planning and prioritization within the scrum framework to ensure transparency, focus, and clear progress tracking.Manage the cloud support board, monitor and delegate open tasks while ensuring timely responses and resolutions.Collaborate closely with product development teams to deploy scalable, modular, and maintainable infrastructure.Ensure the reliability, stability, and availability of high-performance systems, supporting development teams during deployments and troubleshooting.Identify and implement improvements in build and release management processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.Provide technical support and guidance during incidents ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery.RequirementsMinimum 6 years of experience as a Cloud, Infrastructure, or DevOps Engineer, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.Experience with Azure Cloud and Kubernetes in maintaining large-scale distributed systems.Proven ability to build reusable and scalable infrastructure components through Terraform following Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.Demonstrated leadership experience with strong communication and collaboration skills at both team and management levels.Practical experience in task planning and prioritization within Scrum environments.Ability to share knowledge and insights through technical demos, discussions, or brainstorming sessions.Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, capable of driving projects independently.Fluent English (C1+) and Polish are requiredWe offerCompetitive B2B compensation in the range of 28,000 – 34,000 PLN net/month, depending on experience and skills.Payment in either USD or PLN (we have a branch in Poland)Regular company events and integrations (meetups)Ability to access & use coworking office spaces in every major city in PolandUnlimited legal advice & support with B2B partnership and self-employmentMissing anything you like?
