In this role you will be responsible for:Lead, teach, and grow a team of experienced DevOps engineers and DBA’sIdentify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency of the DevOps team.Provide technical leadership to the DevOps team, including mentoring and coaching.Work closely with the engineering teams to define infrastructure needs and provide them with DevOps support and training.Research and integrate new technologies into our stackCreate and maintain technical documentationManage, monitor, scale, and troubleshoot a distributed highly scalable, highly available, customer-facing software stackMentor and coach others in the cloud and DevOps tools and practicesRequirements:What is needed to succeed? Required qualifications:Experience with leading, mentoring, and developing a teamComprehensive knowledge and experience of AWS Cloud servicesExperience in infrastructure troubleshooting practices using observability tools – advantage to ElasticSearch and Prometheus.Competent experience with building automation tools such as IaC, Jenkins, CircleCI, jFrog, Terraform and similarVast experience with K8s deployments, maintenance, and troubleshootingGood communication and interpersonal skillsTeam player, innovative and creative, able to see the “big picture” and take part in shaping the productDesired qualifications:Experience or familiarity with database administration (DBA) tasks and operationsExperience with cost optimization and budgeting in cloud infrastructureStrong verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to participate in technical discussions confidently and effectivelyWhat we have to offer:Checkmarx offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, competitive compensation, great work-life balance, as well as great benefits and perks throughout the year.
