TitleDG BOSS: Upholsterer (FN)Performs upholstery repairs on vehicles and equipment.Repair or replace damaged or worn upholstery in all vehicles and equipment.Repair or replace upholstery to match existing material and workmanship quality.Repairs and fabricates headliners of all types of motor vehicles including door cover panels.Remove old upholstery and linings from vehicles.Take measurements and select appropriate materials to be used.Sew materials together and fasten them in place.Finish with trims and edging.Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment.Performs other duties as may be assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.Basic QualificationsMust be familiar with the use of sewing machines and understand the importance of performing operational maintenance of the machine.Must be familiar with the fabrics required.Must know how to interpret drawings.Must speak, read, and understand the English Language.Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.Must have a valid country of origin’s driver’s license.Preferred QualificationsJOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING:N/AEducationMust have at least a High School diploma is required.ExperienceMust have at least three (3) years of work experience in upholstery repairs on vehicles and equipment.R2114653
