To review patient records to ensure aspects of care are completed (eg retinal screening, HbA1c, Booking bloods etc), printing off relevant request forms and reporting to team members if appropriate.To record DSM activity in clinicTo input data into the Maternity diabetes database To arrange and attend antenatal diabetes team meetings, send out agenda, take and distribute minutesTo keep up to date the ‘S ‘drive, Diabetes folderTo retrieve records on request by medical or midwifery staff and ensure they have been tracked and then returned appropriately.To file information into maternity records as requested.To create and send appropriate standard letters in different clinical situations, both antenatally and postnatallyTo download data from glucose meters where appropriateTo participate in data collection for audit when appropriate To provide statistics to the diabetes antenatal team members for reports.To communicate with the diabetes antenatal team as necessary.To comply with relevant training requirements and be proficient in the use of Trust IT systems, including PAS, ICE, Protos.To keep informed of any developments in relation to A & C responsibilities.Join us at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and be part of a workforce of over 10,000 staff!The NNUH is one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK, providing first-class acute care for around one million people, living in Norfolk and surrounding areas.
