Die Polisher

Directly responsible to Extrusion Shift Supervisor. The Die Polisher must communicate well with the schedulers, press crew and all other plant personnel. Functionally responsible for maintenance of all extrusion dies to achieve maximum yield/productivity.Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe duties and responsibilities of the Die Polisher are detailed below, but not limited to the following:Prepare dies according to required press schedules in cooperation with the Scheduling DeptDeliver the required dies to applicable pressesHelp ensure graphite blocks are made available for dies requiring themIsolate dies to be corrected and ensure caustic attendant is informed of priority diesInspect & polish dies as required.
