Crosshouse Hospital is located two miles from Kilmarnock town centre and is easily accessible from Glasgow.Hours And Shift Pattern37 hours per week, Monday to FridayThis post is offered on a fixed term basis (1 year)What You Will DoYou will work with colleagues to provide dietetic input across our inpatient wards, with potential opportunity to work in renal, gastroenterology, general medical or critical care dependant on applicants experience and interest. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in dietetics within these settings. Experience of acute adult dietetics and artificial nutrition support is essential to this role. Knowledge and experience working with acutely complex patients would be desirable, however support will be provided for those enthusiastic to develop their skills in these areas. The team, comprising dietitians and dietetic assistant practitioners, work together to provide effective dietetic care to 21 in-patient wards, working to national and local targets and drivers. We participate in regular peer review, structured clinical supervision and professional development sessions.
