Job OverviewBand 6 Research Nurse in Haematology ResearchWe are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill this position in our Oncology and Haematology research team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.The Oncology Haematology research portfolio ranges from observational studies to interventional clinical trials with over 60 active trials running.This role in particular will support the haematology research portfolio but the post holder will need to be flexible to work in other related areas as demand arises.Informal enquiries would be welcomed.Main duties of the jobThe job entails supporting all aspects of trial organisation from trial set up to completion as an integrated member of the clinical research team whilst also maintaining clinical skills such as venepuncture, blood sample processing, measuring blood pressure and recording 12 lead ECGs. The role includes direct patient contact.To fill this role we are looking for a highly motivated research nurse who pride themselves on their excellent planning, attention to detail and flexibility.
