Job SummaryWe are seeking a Digital Asset Risk Manager to strengthen Bit Digital’s control environment around custody, transaction processes, and overall digital asset security. This role will oversee and continuously improve policies, procedures, and systems related to digital asset management, wallet operations, custody arrangements, and risk controls. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in digital asset operations and a risk and compliance mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain digital asset risk management frameworks that cover wallet security, custody, staking, and on-chain operations.Review and document end-to-end digital asset workflows, including transaction approval, cold/hot wallet segregation, and multi-signature (M-Sig) and multi-party computation (MPC) controls.Conduct risk assessments and internal reviews of existing processes to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.Work closely with the IT, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure consistent control implementation and audit readiness.Liaise with external custodians, exchanges, and service providers to verify adherence to security and operational best practices.Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) for digital asset activities and report potential exposure or incidents.Lead or support incident response and root-cause analysis for any security or operational events.Stay updated on emerging digital asset risks, custody technologies (e.g., MPC, HSM), and global regulatory developments.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in digital asset operations, risk management, or custody.Strong understanding of blockchain custody models, wallet management, and private key security.Familiarity with MPC, cold storage, staking operations, and exchange integrations.Experience with internal control design, policy documentation, and audit coordination.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface across technical, finance, and compliance teams.Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CAMS, or equivalent) are an advantage.
