We're seeking a Digital & Email Retention Specialist to manage our retention and digital channels—including email, SMS, push, ecommerce content, loyalty, Impact Wallet, and performance/affiliate marketing. This role is highly focused on email and SMS marketing, with the primary goal of driving revenue and reducing churn.Responsibilities include content planning and testing, building triggered flows, reporting on KPIs, managing the retention tech stack, overseeing loyalty programs, and coordinating with agencies. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, able to translate performance data into actionable strategies. You will work closely with eCommerce, Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, and Customer Service to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns.What will you be doing?Strategy Support the development of the DTC / ecom strategy and roadmap and be accountable for its execution. Build a best in class customer lifecycle and segmentation strategy to support full price sales. Retention Channels (Email/SMS/Push)Manage and optimize retention channels with a focus on revenue growth and churn reduction to achieve sales targetsOwn the email/SMS calendar, campaign briefing, execution, segmentation, and QABuild and optimize lifecycle flows, A/B tests, and journey strategiesMonitor KPIs, list health, compliance, and tech integrationsProject & Campaign ManagementLead ESP migration and consolidate communications into a unified platformBuild and implement DTC strategic roadmap and customer journeyDevelop segmentation strategies to acquire, convert, and retain high-value, full-price customersAudit retention programs to identify and improve underperforming areas (deliverability, segmentation, engagement). Manage end-to-end campaign development, including copywriting, briefing, creative execution, QA, and schedulingCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure campaign quality and brand alignmentMarketing Analysis & ReportingAnalyze retention channel performance and produce regular reportsTranslate data into insights and optimizations for email, SMS, and push strategiesList Management & GrowthMaintain list health through segmentation, frequency optimization, and preference centersDrive list growth via partnerships, contests, lead generation, and ecommerce/retail opportunitiesLoyalty, Referral & Impact WalletManage loyalty and referral programs to encourage repeat purchasesOversee the Impact Wallet and tree planting subscription, integrating mission-driven messaging into lifecycle campaignsEcommerce & Digital MarketingManage on-site content from briefing through build and QACoordinate with performance and affiliate marketing partners to deliver best-in-class digital executionRequirementsProfessional5+ years' hands-on experience in email, SMS, and push marketing (e.g., Klaviyo, Wunderkind, Attentive, Push Owl, Stamped, Back in Stock)DTC ecommerce experience (preferably Shopify)Proven track record of achieving KPIs, with strong analytics skills (Google Analytics or similar)Deep knowledge of retention, lifetime value, and frequency managementAdvanced campaign building, list management, and tech stack expertiseExperience managing loyalty programs (e.g., Yotpo)Strong project management skills (e.g., Asana)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environmentPersonalAnalytical and imaginative, able to turn data into actionable strategies.
