Smart & Biggar is currently looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our national Business Development & Marketing team for 14 months.As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will serve as a champion, educator, and advocate for digital and social media within the firm. You will support all marketing communications activities and contribute to the broader BD & Marketing strategy. This role involves planning, executing, and analyzing digital initiatives across the firm’s website, email marketing, webinars, advertising, and social media channels.Responsibilities.Plan, execute, and analyze digital marketing campaigns across the firm’s website, CRM, email, webinars, social media, and advertising platformsManage audience segmentation, marketing automation, and contact data within Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring compliance with CASL/GDPRMaintain and update website content (bios, news, articles, events) and ensure consistency with firm brand standardsManage the firm’s LinkedIn channel, including content strategy, paid campaigns, and performance reportingSupport the creation and distribution of thought leadership content, newsletters, and event promotions in collaboration with practitioners and the BD & Marketing teamTrack and report on digital performance (SEO, engagement, conversions) to inform strategy and optimize resultsProvide design and layout support for digital and print materials using Adobe Creative Suite and/or CanvaCoordinate and deliver firm webinars, from promotion to execution and post-event analyticsPartner with vendors and internal teams to maintain smooth digital operations and identify opportunities for improvementOther duties may be assigned or amended as requiredQualifications, Competencies, And Experience.Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Marketing (asset, not required)3 - 5 years of experience in digital or content marketing, ideally within a professional services, legal, or B2B environmentExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, CMS platforms, Zoom webinars, and Adobe Creative Suite or CanvaBasic understanding of HTML/CSS and website content editingStrong working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO best practicesExcellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesCommitment to data privacy, compliance, and ethical marketing practicesProficiency in English; French language skills are an assetNo recruiters or agencies please.Smart & Biggar offers a comprehensive total rewards package including:A competitive compensation structure based on transparency, clarity and fairness; A flexible benefits program; Personal days to help balance personal and professional commitments; Employee referral program.Smart & Biggar is a proud member of the Law Firm Diversity and Inclusion Network (LFDIN), working to promote diversity and encourage a culture of inclusion in our Firm and the broader legal profession.
