This role is responsible for the creative design and execution of motion graphics, animations, and visual elements for Fidelity media products, including webcasts, podcasts, social media content, internal and external video, and digital events. The role requires strong visual storytelling skills, modern design sensibility, and advanced expertise in motion graphics and animation.ResponsibilitiesOwn the visual design and motion graphics for Fidelity digital media content Evolve the creative look and feel of Fidelity media products Deliver advanced motion graphics and animation solutions Collaborate closely with production and content partners ExperienceWhat We Are Looking ForExpert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D animation tools Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour theory, and visual hierarchy Advanced experience with animation principles, motion tracking, compositing, and visual effects Knowledge of video workflows, codecs, frame rates, and delivery formats Ability to design for web, social media, livestreams, and internal communication platforms Strong creative problem‑solving skills and ability to interpret creative direction Excellent communication and collaboration skills Minimum 5 years of experienceEducationCollege degree or equivalent work experienceMust Have Education or formal training in graphic design, motion graphics, animation, or a related fieldNice to Have Specialized training in 3D animation, visual effects, or advanced motion designThe Expertise You BringMust Have Experience in motion graphics and digital design within a professional environment A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing motion graphics, animation, and visual design work Experience collaborating with producers, editors, or content teams on video-based projects Nice to Have Experience designing graphics for webcasts, livestreams, or broadcast-style content Familiarity with social media video formats and platform-specific design considerations Experience creating design systems or reusable graphics templates Some of the ways we’ll help you feel valued and supported as part of our teamFlexible working arrangements - 100% remote, hybrid, and in office optionsCompetitive total compensation, including company contributions to your group RRSP without a matching requirement from youComprehensive health benefits that start on your first day, with 100% employer-paid premiums, that include up to $5000 annually for mental health services and therapyParental leave top-up to 100% of your salary for a period of 25 weeksUp to $650 for home office equipmentGenerous time off policy, including 2 paid days annually to volunteer at a charity of your choiceDiversity and inclusion programs, including an active network of Employee Resource GroupsExtensive professional development opportunities, including access to over 11,000 training and development courses, tuition reimbursement, and monetary rewards for completing a required designation We care a lot about fostering a compassionate, people-centric culture, and are proud to have been named one of Canada’s Top 100 employers for the last five years.Total Rewards That Reflect Your ImpactWe believe exceptional work deserves exceptional recognition.
