Committed to continuous learning and teamwork, we deliver high-touch, premium AV solutions to enterprise and government clients.Job DescriptionThe Intermediate AV Drafter independently produces AV drawing packages for standard, small to medium sized projects. This is a production-heavy role requiring strong CAD skills and an interest in developing knowledge of AV systems.Accountabilities:Produce complete AV drawing packages including:Floor & ceiling plans with device layoutsEquipment elevationsMillwork detailsConduit riser diagramsFunctional drawings (Signal flow diagrams)Rack layoutsCustom equipment configurationsManage Xrefs, title blocks, and file structuresAssist with revisions, as-builts, and closeout documentationApply company CAD standards and industry best practices to all drawing packagesCoordinate deliverables with Designers and other disciplinesSupport continuous improvement of drafting templates and block librariesQualifications2-5 years of drafting experienceStrong proficiency in AutoCADAbility to read architectural and electrical drawingsHigh attention to detail and strong file organization habitsAssets:Experience with any of the following:BIMAutodesk RevitAutoLISP (or other languages for custom command creation)Demonstrated ability to act as an additional layer of QA/QC on AV systems designPrevious AV experienceMeasurements of Success:Produces drawing packages with minimal oversightDelivers production work efficiently while maintaining accuracyRequires limited CAD training (excluding custom LISP and .NET routines)Can independently manage smaller projects or drawing setsAdditional Information Further Details: Annual salary range: 60-78k CAD per year. Ability to obtain required security clearances and confidentiality agreements.
