Open Level - (Executive / Senior Executive)The Digital Specialist plays a critical role in strengthening World Vision Malaysia’s online presence, donor engagement, and digital performance.This position supports the Digital Marketing Manager in managing digital platforms, campaigns, and analytics, ensuring that all digital touchpoints are optimized to deliver meaningful engagement, data accuracy, and measurable fundraising results.The role combines creative and technical skills to maintain websites, monitor online campaigns, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth digital operations.The final designation (Executive / Senior Executive) will depend on the candidate’s experience, leadership capability, and performance during the selection process.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1.   Website & Digital Platform ManagementMaintain and update content on WVM’s digital platforms such as website, campaign landing pages, and donation portals.Coordinate with the IT & Business Analyst and external vendors to ensure systems are functioning securely and efficiently.Support website optimization for user experience, mobile responsiveness, SEO, and accessibility.Track and troubleshoot web or integration issues, escalating technical matters appropriately.2.   Digital Campaign ExecutionSupport the implementation of digital campaigns (search, display, social, and email).Manage ad trafficking, UTM tracking, tagging, and pixel setup for performance reporting.Collaborate with Communications and Campaign teams to publish creative content and track engagement performance.Coordinate digital assets for events, fundraising appeals, and storytelling initiatives.3.   Analytics & ReportingMonitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Google Tag Manager.Prepare dashboards and insights on campaign outcomes, web traffic, and conversion trends.Provide recommendations for optimizing content and improving online conversions.Ensure data consistency and integrity across all digital platforms.4.   System & Vendor CoordinationWork with vendors, agencies, and internal IT to ensure smooth integration between CRM, payment gateways, and marketing automation systems.Conduct periodic testing of donation forms, system updates, and new feature rollouts.Maintain accurate records and documentation for digital operations.5.   Collaboration & InnovationCollaborate with Marketing, Campaigns, Communications, Programmes and IT teams to deliver integrated online experiences.Stay updated with emerging digital trends, tools, and best practices for nonprofits.Contribute creative ideas to strengthen WVM’s digital engagement and supporter experience.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 2–5 years of experience in digital marketing operations, analytics, or web management.Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, SEO/SEM tools, and Meta Ads Manager.Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and basic HTML/CSS is an advantage.Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.Passion for leveraging digital tools to support social good and humanitarian causes.CORE COMPETENCIESDigital Fluency: Understands online platforms, tools, and trends.Analytical Thinking: Uses data insights to guide improvements.Collaboration: Works well across teams and with vendors.Accountability: Takes ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables.Adaptability: Responds positively to evolving technologies.Innovation: Brings fresh ideas to enhance engagement and impact.PERFORMANCE INDICATORSQuality, uptime, and accuracy of digital platforms.Timeliness and effectiveness of campaign execution and reporting.Improvement in engagement, conversion, and ROI metrics.Collaboration feedback from internal teams and partners.Contribution to digital optimization and innovation initiatives.
