As part of the French Legal Team of Coca Cola Europacific Partners France, and more broadly of the FBN (France – Benelux – Nordics) legal team, reporting to the Legal Director France, you will enable the company strategy and create maximum value by providing business-focused, strategic and pragmatic advice while ensuring that business and legal risks are managed appropriately. You will thus be a key contributor to our mission of being an integrated strategic business partner to the business.AccountabilitiesStrategic advice and business partneringProvide strategic, creative and pragmatic legal advice to the business on a broad range of topics and in all areas of law (including commercial and competition law, contract law, compliance, corporate and sustainability) in order to reach the business goals.Work closely with decision makers in a way that enables the business to achieve the objectives of the FR business plan and FBN roadmap - For key business decisions, ensure that their legal consequences and implications are well understood and appropriately factored into the decision-making processBe a valued partner to all departments and develop the legally relevant documents and tools in accordance with the applicable legislation (commercial law, competition law, etc.);Be a strong Legal representative and contributor on ad-hoc project teams.Protecting the license to operateIn close connection with central teams, provide strategic legal compliance management that safeguards the long-term viability and growth of the business;Monitor, build and develop, across the appropriate business stakeholders a good understanding of compliance with all relevant commercial laws and regulations including those governing competition, advertising, food, sustainability, fraud, antibribery, data protection and consumer protection;Strongly contribute to the Legal Department’s training and business empowerment efforts, to equip business colleagues with the relevant legal tools and templates that enable them to manage the business more effectively and shape the legal environment in which they operate to CCEP’s competitive and commercial advantage.Team workBe a key member of the French legal team and through strategic focus and constructive feedback, be a key contributor to the team’s successStrongly contribute alongside with the other members of the team to the commercial legal agenda for FranceWork with legal colleagues based in the other countries of the group to align legal strategies, advices and tools.Be a key member of an assigned pan-European legal Center of expertise (CoE) or Community of practice (CoP)Maintain and continuously deepen and expand own and team legal knowledge baseManage the relationship with external counsels where appropriateDispute Prevention, Avoidance and ResolutionPre-empt and manage, in close collaboration with the Legal director France and the business leadership teams, potential disputes to ensure resolution in a cost effective way that safeguards CCEP France reputation and business performanceProfileYou are a qualified lawyer with at least 12 years of relevant experience in the field of commercial law and/or competition law, that has included consultation with strategic business clients. We are looking for someone with very strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, as well as excellent influencing and negotiation skills to bring all stakeholders to common views and strategies; who is team-player, intellectually curious, confident, and capable of engaging effectively with various levels of the organization and dealing with complex matters; who is a pragmatic problem solver; who is pro-active and self-directed and who communicates clearly and effectively - both in writing and verbally ; who is open to different perspectives, new ideas and working methods; who values building trust and transparency within the team and with the other teams ; who has a positive attitude and flexible approach to things. You are fluent in French and English.
