You will lead and mentor a talented design team, collaborate closely with engineering and product management. This role requires hands-on expertise in fintech app development and a strong command of design tools like Figma. Creative Vision and Brand Alignment: Define and communicate the creative vision for our fintech products, ensuring all designs are aligned with our brand identity and meet user needs effectively.2. Hands-On Design Excellence: Be a hands-on design expert, utilizing your proficiency in design tools such as Figma to actively contribute to the creation of visually stunning and functional designs.3. User-Centered Design: Champion user-centered design principles, conduct user research, and advocate for the best design practices to ensure our products meet the needs and expectations of our customers.4. Design Strategy and Innovation: Drive design strategy and innovation, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our products' user experiences.Problem Solving1. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into innovative and user-centric designs.Interaction:1. Manage focused occasionally complex stakeholder relationships with support from manager; represent activities to senior management with support2. Awareness and detailed understanding of overall business and industry context3. Lead and manage a small product design team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Provide mentorship, coaching, and feedback to elevate the team& skills and deliver high-quality design outputs.To succeed in the roleImpact● responsible for driving the creative vision and ensuring the delivery of exceptional user experiences across our mobile and web applications.Challenges & Decisions●Define and communicate the creative vision for our fintech products, ensuring all designs arealigned with our brand identity and meet user needs effectivelyQualification & Experience (type & industry)● BE/B.Tech or equivalent Degree. MBA is good to have● Minimum 8 years of experience in designing fintech mobile and web applications● Proven experience leading and managing a medium-sized design team● A strong portfolio showcasing your fintech design expertise and successful product launchesSkills & know-how● Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively translate user needs to the product team.● Experience in a startup environment is a plus, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
