Fiserv is seeking a Director, Business Development to help accelerate our expansion across Sub-Saharan Africa.In this pivotal role, you will be the face of Fiserv to prospective clients, primarily Financial Institutions, helping them navigate the future of payments and digital transformation. You will lead conversations at all levels, from C-suite to operational teams, and collaborate across Fiserv to deliver tailored solutions that address client pain points and unlock new opportunities. You'll report directly to the Head of Sub-Saharan Africa.What You Will DoBuild and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities with Card Issuers and Merchant Acquirers.Deliver annual sales and revenue targets.Lead client engagements, presentations, and RFx processes.Collaborate with internal teams to craft optimal technical and commercial proposals.Drive contract negotiations from initiation to closure.Cultivate relationships with key industry players, consulting firms, card schemes, and processors.Stay ahead of market trends and provide strategic insights to clients and internal teams.What You Will Need To Have12+ years of experience in banking, payments, or financial services.Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, or product roles within financial services, especially in Cards Issuing and Merchant Acquiring.Sales experience covering Financial Institutions across the African continent.Good understanding of Issuer Processing, Merchant Acquiring, and Core Banking products.Well-versed in Africa's business landscape.Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building long-term client relationships.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.A proactive, resilient, and results-driven mindset.Thank You For Considering Employment With Fiserv.
