If this sounds like you, and you are ready to take on a broad area of responsibilities, then you could be our new colleague.Your new positionThis role will lead the Competitive Intelligence function and set the strategy, operating model, and standards to inform decision-making across the portfolio. The position will harness external and internal data to generate clear, timely insights that shape planning, investor communications, and product development. The role will partner closely with research, development, medical affairs, commercial, and investor relations to anticipate market shifts and identify opportunities and threats. It offers high visibility and impact, with direct influence on strategic decisions across the portfolio and corporate narrative.We offer exciting responsibilities:Drive the Competitive Intelligence strategy and act as the CI Center of Excellence across the organizationBuild and lead CI ways of working, tools, and processes to enable consistent, high-quality insightsMonitor competitors, pipelines, market trends, regulations, partnerships, and emerging technologies; synthesize diverse data into clear insightsLead event intelligence at key congresses; track competitor activities and KOL sentiment; deliver rapid, actionable updates to leadershipCollaborate across functions on category assessments, scenario planning, positioning, TPPs, go/no-go decisions, and business development supportMaintain and grow external intelligence networks and sources to identify strategic threats and opportunitiesYour profileA strategic leader with a passion for the science–business interface who thrives in complex, fast-changing environments. Comfortable engaging in both technical and strategic discussions, translating complex datasets and trial designs into concise, decision-ready insights. Adept at influencing senior stakeholders through clear communication and evidence-based recommendations. Proficiency in English is required.Extensive experience in pharma/biotech/VC/analyst roles across science and business (e.g., new product planning, medical affairs, strategic planning, commercial, market analysis)Recent, hands-on competitive intelligence experienceStrong quantitative and data analysis skills; able to translate preclinical/clinical data and study designs into strategic insightsExpertise in obesity and/or cardiovascular–renal metabolism (scientific, medical, or commercial)Strategic agility and executive influence in matrixed settingsDemonstrated ability to anticipate market shifts and shape strategyYour new teamBased in the Investor Relations department, this role reports directly to the Vice President of Investor Relations and works cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Research, and other functions.
