Director, Corporate Governance & Compliance

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director to build, lead, and mature our organization's entire Corporate Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) framework. This is a senior leadership role based in Riyadh, responsible for establishing a best-in-class function from the ground up.In this role, you will be responsible for:Designing and implementing a comprehensive corporate governance and compliance framework, including all supporting policies, procedures, and organizational structures.Establishing and leading a new, integrated Compliance Office, defining its mandate and institutional responsibilities.Conducting thorough gap analyses against national and international standards, specifically including ISO 37000 (Governance) and ISO 37301 (Compliance).Developing and maintaining a comprehensive compliance risk register and integrating it with the enterprise-wide risk management methodology.Serving as the lead strategic advisor to senior management and the Board on all GRC and ESG matters.Designing and delivering organization-wide training and awareness programs to embed a strong culture of compliance.We are looking for a candidate with:A minimum of 13+ years of progressive professional experience in building and leading corporate compliance and governance functions, preferably within a financial, regulatory, or government-related environment.Proven, hands-on experience in building GRC policies, procedures, and controls from scratch.Advanced knowledge of sustainability principles and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) frameworks.Deep familiarity with international ISO standards for GRC.Several key professional certifications, such as GRCP, GRCA, CCO, or CAMS.
