You will lead engineering across multiple functional areas, including development, quality assurance, data architecture, and devops. You will help continuously improve and drive the agile software development lifecycle, including prioritization, planning, iteration, deployment, release, and support.Main DutiesLead the engineering team to execute in a highly agile environmentDrive processes for code deployment and synchronization across environmentsProvide technical leadership and mentoring across the organizationChampion initiatives to align engineering standards and processesParticipate in roadmap estimation and resource alignment to meet organizational goalsResponsible for people development, resource management and enhancing overall productivityIdentify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competenciesSet and communicate team/individual objectives and KPIs to inspire individuals to achieve high performanceImplement development plans and coach individuals to reach their maximum talentProvide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address performance issues in a timely mannerRecognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talentRegularly communicate on company news and team progress against business planDirect and manage development partner relationshipsAcademic QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experienceAn Ideal Candidate Will Have15+ years relevant work experience10+ years of significant hands-on experience in specific areas of competence such as database, web service/API development, user interface, devops7+ years relevant technical leadership experience including responsibility for organizational objectives and measurementsExperience and knowledge of the industryComplete software development life cycle–from concept to deliveryDemonstrated leadership in root cause analysis and risk mitigationDemonstrated leadership in agile software development environmentsEffective at planning project work streams for individuals and teamsExperience with distributed systems and cloud computingExpertise in system performance analysis and tuningExperience with continuous integration systemsExperience using git, or other source control systemsExceptional communication skillsJob Location: RemoteBenefitsVeradigm believes in empowering our associates with the tools and flexibility to bring the best version of themselves to work.
