This individual will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of all online revenue channels—including e-commerce sales, digital product sales, and event ticket transactions—while also driving high-quality lead generation and digital demand for group ticket sales.This role requires a hybrid strategist-operator who deeply understands digital customer journeys, conversion funnels, marketing systems, and event marketing performance. You will bridge marketing, sales, product, IT, and revenue operations to deliver a seamless, data-driven customer experience that produces measurable revenue growth.This role is remote and reports directly to the Global Chief Events Officer.Key ResponsibilitiesE-Commerce & Digital Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute an integrated e-commerce strategy to grow online sales across events, products, and digital offerings.Build end-to-end customer journeys—from awareness → engagement → conversion → post-purchase retention—optimizing every stage for higher revenue.Own website and landing-page performance, using SEO, CRO, and UX best practices to maximize conversion rates for ticket sales and digital products.Ensure a frictionless ticket-purchase experience across mobile, desktop, and partner channels.Demand Generation & Event MarketingDesign and execute multi-channel event marketing campaigns (email, social, paid media, retargeting, SEO, nurture flows) that drive lead generation for:Individual ticket salesGroup ticket salesVIP/event upgrade packagesBuild repeatable demand engines that support 14+ annual events plus webinars, summits, and roadshows.Persona & SAP/ERP Audience MessagingDevelop deep expertise in SAP/ERP user personas, including: CIOs, Enterprise Architects, System Analysts, Developers, Engineers, Finance Managers, and Data/Security teams.Translate persona insights into targeted messaging, tailored journeys, and segmented nurture pathways that improve engagement and conversion.Alumni Retention & Lifecycle MarketingLead 365-day always-on marketing programs to drive alumni repeat attendance.Implement lifecycle workflows that nurture past attendees, increase renewal velocity, and boost multi-event participation.Digital Systems & Marketing OperationsOwn the full digital marketing tech stack, including:CRM (Salesforce)Marketing automation (HubSpot, Brevo)E-commerce platformsEvent management systems (Swoogo)WordPress CMSGA4 and analytics toolsEnsure seamless data flow, attribution visibility, and accurate reporting from lead → MQL → SQL → purchase.Reporting & AnalyticsBuild a centralized performance dashboard tracking:Conversion rates at every funnel stageCost-per-lead and cost-per-acquisitionMQL and pipeline creationE-commerce revenue, ticket sales, and ROIUse data to diagnose friction in the customer journey and continuously optimize campaigns.Cross-Functional LeadershipPartner with sales to ensure aligned messaging, efficient lead handoffs, and shared revenue goals.Collaborate with content, product, and event teams to ensure marketing campaigns support programming and revenue targets.Budget OwnershipManage e-commerce, paid digital, and event marketing budgets with financial discipline.Allocate spend across paid social, SEO, PPC, retargeting, and nurture programs to maximize ROI.Must have direct experience managing social media lead generation spend (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram).Testing, Optimization & InnovationImplement rigorous A/B and multivariate testing across email, landing pages, ads, and onsite flows.Use CRO, heatmapping, and analytics insights to eliminate funnel drop-off and increase sales velocity.Stay ahead of emerging digital trends, AI tools, and marketing innovations relevant to event growth.Campaign OptimizationImplement A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies for websites, landing pages, and email campaigns to continuously improve performance. Professional Qualifications:Experience5+ years leading e-commerce revenue growth, digital marketing, or demand generation in a high-volume online sales or events environment.Demonstrated success driving online ticket sales, digital product sales, and/or lead generation at scale.Industry ExpertiseStrong understanding of SAP and ERP personas, pain points, learning needs, and buying behavior.Experience marketing to technical, IT, and enterprise B2B audiences is highly preferred.Technical & Digital SkillsExpertise in:Salesforce CRMHubSpot or similar MA platformGA4, SEO tools, and conversion analyticsWordPress / CMS platform managementE-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, or equivalent)Landing-page builders, paid social platforms, and event systems (Swoogo preferred)Analytical SkillsStrong command of data interpretation, attribution modeling, forecasting, and revenue analytics.Ability to turn insights into action to improve conversion rates and campaign performance.Project Management Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Communication Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.Strategic ThinkingA visionary approach with the ability to align day-to-day operations with the company's broader strategic objectives and identify new growth opportunities.Adaptability Ability to adapt quickly to the fast-evolving digital marketing and event landscape, including new technologies and consumer behaviors.
