If you're ready to make a real impact in a dynamic, future-focused environment, we invite you to grow with us.We are looking for an experienced Facilities and Investments Director to lead the development of our facilities and investment processes and prioritization. The Director ensures that the facilities and investment processes, efficiency, costs and prioritization are aligned with our operational and strategic goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLeads the Facilities portfolio development:Oversee the lifecycle planning of a large portfolio of facilities (e.g., offices, production sites and warehouses). Ensure optimal space utilization, functionality, and alignment with business requirements.Lead strategic initiatives such as site consolidation, expansion, or modernization projects.Drive cost-savings through optimized facility usage, contract optimization and energy managementDrive continuous improvement in facility operations, energy efficiency, and sustainability.Leads The Investment Process And Its Strategic AlignmentLead the development of investment governance, approval processes and ensure their consistent application.Maintain a consolidated view of the investment portfolio, evaluate and prioritize capital investment proposals, and monitor investment performancesupport strategic prioritization of investments.In this position you will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders across Valmet globally including operating unit heads, “location owners”, finance, HR and Senior management. You will report to VP, Strategic Development Projects in Global Supply and you will lead a small team, and in matrix facilities “locations owners”.To Be Successful In This Position, You Will NeedMaster’s degree in Business, Economic, Finance or Industrial Management7-10 years of experience in investment governance, portfolio management, facility management or similar positions.Strong operational execution skills with financial acumen.Resilient, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated success in a multi-cultural and multinational organization.We OfferIn return, we offer you an interesting work environment, demanding position working within a global industry leader and the support of Valmet's global network.
