With a strong presence across multiple vehicle segments, they are at the forefront of intelligent cockpit, ADAS, and powertrain technologies, partnering with top OEMs and semiconductor suppliers worldwide.About This RoleWe are seeking a Global IC Procurement Director to lead the strategic sourcing and procurement of semiconductor components across all vehicle programs. This role will drive global supplier strategy, cost optimization, and risk management while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality ICs to support engineering and production teams. Key responsibilities include:Develop and execute global IC procurement strategies to support all vehicle programs.Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management for ICs including MCU, SoC, Memory, Sensors, and Interface ICs.Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring quality, compliance, and supply security.Collaborate with engineering and program teams to align procurement strategy with technical requirements and project timelines.Manage a global team of procurement professionals and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.Monitor market trends, semiconductor supply risks, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.What We Are Looking ForBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Minimum 12–15 years of experience in semiconductor procurement, preferably in the automotive industry.Proven experience managing global IC procurement and supplier relationships.Strong negotiation, analytical, and risk management skills.Deep understanding of semiconductor technologies, market trends, and supply chain challenges.Leadership experience managing and developing high-performing, multi-regional teams.Excellent communication skills in English; experience working in multi-cultural, cross-functional environments.What We Can OfferLeadership role in a global Tier1 company driving strategic semiconductor sourcing.Opportunity to influence the supply chain strategy of cutting-edge automotive technologies.Competitive compensation and benefits package with global exposure.Collaborative, inclusive, and innovative work environment.Career development opportunities within a global organization.How to ApplyIn addition to LinkedIn applications, we welcome you to send a copy of your resume directly to sylvia.xing@chapterasia.com.
