No relocation.We are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Director of Growth Marketing to lead Alation’s digital demand engine. This is a high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer and sitting on the CMO’s leadership team. You’ll collaborate across marketing, sales, and product to drive efficient pipeline growth that converts to revenue. One more thing...We work in a hybrid model—you’ll join us in our Redwood City office to collaborate, connect, and enjoy a team atmosphere!What You'll DoOwn Paid Media & Digital Performance: Oversee high-performing campaigns across paid search, paid social, display, and retargeting to achieve customer acquisition and funnel conversion goals. Continuously test and optimize acquisition efforts through audience segmentation, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization.Drive Data-Driven Growth: Analyze campaign performance leveraging insights to improve targeting, engagement, messaging, and ROI. Own performance reporting, regularly presenting results, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with product marketing, content, regional marketing and operations to align strategies, messaging, and execution across the buyer journey.Manage Budget & Resources: Strategically allocate and manage campaign budgets to maximize performance, efficiency, and revenue impact.Build the Growth Marketing Function: Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing growth team, including demand generation and paid acquisition.Your Background8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience with a focus on growth, demand generation, or digital acquisition in enterprise sales-led environments.Proven success driving pipeline and revenue in companies scaling from $50M–$250M+ ARR.Deep expertise in digital channels (SEM, paid social, display), performance analytics, CAC/LTV modeling, and marketing funnel optimization.Strong analytical skills with experience across Martech/CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, 6sense).A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and experience working cross-functionally across sales, product, and marketing.Experience hiring and developing high-performing growth or demand gen teams.Why You'll Love Working HereImpact: Drive company-defining decisions through data-driven insights and strategic recommendationsGrowth: Accelerated career trajectory with opportunities to expand responsibilities as the company scalesScope: Work across multiple business functions to develop a holistic understanding of how a high-growth tech company operatesInnovation: Help shape the future of data intelligence and AI in enterprise environmentsCulture: Join a collaborative environment that combines the intellectual rigor of consulting with the agility of a technology innovatorCompensation Pay Range$171,290.00 - $231,241.00Salary InformationThe base salary range is specific to the United States. The salary of the final candidate selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, work location, specialty and training.
