Director of LeasingThe Director of Leasing is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for multifamily properties with both market-rate and affordable components. This includes managing budgets and analyzing data to optimize leasing and marketing performance. The Director also oversees marketing operations, manages staff, and ensures exceptional resident experience. The role requires strong leadership, analytical, and relationship management skills, with frequent client and onsite property engagement.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain client specific SOPsEnsure tech stack alignment, integration, and training coordination, including:MarTechCRMReputation ManagementCustomer Journey MappingOversee KPI ReportingQuarterly: Symposium-style recapMonthly: Marketing performance and budget trackingBi-Weekly: Property-level and local marketing effortsWeekly: Leasing performance reportingManage client relationships, including call cadence and coordination for marketing, leasing, and pricing in collaboration with operations Coordinate Virtual Leasing Concierge programming and management, if applicable Coordinate with Portfolio Managers to track leasing performance and provide proactive forecasting Implement and monitor resident experience and retention tracking, including:Sentiment analysisReputation managementAttrition / Lease trade-out trendsProvide People Management And LeadershipDirect oversight of dedicated Marketing Manager(s), if applicableCollaborative oversight of shared Marketing Manager(s), if applicableMarketing budget forecasting and trackingLead marketing audits, including digital presence, ILS listings, and market surveys Conduct frequent property visits (estimated at 40% travel, subject to portfolio performance) across the Southeast, with anticipated national growthEducation & ExperienceProven portfolio management experienceUnderstanding of third-party property management operationsExperience with property management systems such as Entrata, Yardi, and OneSiteExperience with CRMs, including Knock and EliseAIDemonstrated creativity in developing content and marketing plansStrong understanding of digital marketing and data analysis to inform recommendationsExceptional attention to detailThis job description should not be considered all-inclusive.
