DescriptionThe Director of Accounting is responsible for overseeing the correct and accurate recording of transactions on the general ledger for MHMR funds and all associated business lines and component units. Reporting to the Controller, this position will oversee a team of staff to assist with responsibilities and to ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the governmental accounting standards board (GASB) standards. This position is responsible for the financial integrity of the balance sheet and income statement for MHMR.Why join us: MHMR has proudly served Tarrant and adjacent county residents for over 50 years.
