Director of Automotive Business Development Engineering Services

This is a direct opportunity with an attractive base and bonus plan.We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in account management and business development with US automotive OEMs, to support growth in our client's engineering services offerings within this market segment.Job Responsibilities: Support Business Development in vehicle & powertrain engineering, intelligent mobility, and software development in the automotive marketDevelop and/or strengthen partnerships with local automotive OEMsDefine and execute sales strategies, based on an understanding of the unique challenges faced by our customers under changing market needs in the automotive industryIdentify & develop new business opportunities and brand awareness through effective networking, including proactive personal interaction and participation in trade shows, conferences, and exhibitionsSupport engineering team in identification of customer requirements and development of proposals to meet or exceed customer expectationsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience8+ years of experience in business developmentStrong professional network, with connections to US-based automotive manufacturersStrong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communicationSelf-starter: ability to function in a matrixed, team organization, taking accountability for meeting business objectives with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications: 10+ years' experience in mobility engineering, with strong focus on engineering servicesExperience in the sale of services related to powertrain testingExperience in the sale of services related to intelligent mobility technologies
