Director of Beverage Strategy

Insight Global is seeking a Director of Beverage Strategy for a large association of independently owned convenience stores headquartered in Smyrna, GA. This role will lead the beverage category, oversee vendor partnerships, negotiate funding, and drive meaningful value to members through strategic program execution and category growth.Travel: Monthly out‑of‑state travel DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead beverage category strategy and long‑term growth roadmapIncrease vendor volume, rebates, and fundingIdentify whitespace across key beverage segmentsNegotiate vendor agreements and manage strategic partnershipsConduct quarterly vendor business reviewsDesign and optimize beverage programs and pricing structuresOversee new product launches and promotional initiativesSupport field teams and member adoption of programsAnalyze category trends and vendor reportingAlign internal teams and represent the organization at industry eventsREQUIREMENTS:5+ years of experience in the beverage industry (manufacturing or retail)Experience managing vendor relationships at the strategic levelProven vendor negotiation experienceStrong commercial acumen (rebates, pricing, funding structures)Comfortable with monthly out‑of‑state travelPlusses:Experience working with a trade association or trade organizationCompensation: $130-$150k. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
