Director of Client Services Atlanta, GA | Hybrid | Occasional Travel (<10%)At Phytest, we partner with independent and physician-owned laboratories to make their laboratory operations and revenue cycle as dependable as the care they deliver. We’re looking for a Director of Client Services to lead our account management team, manage critical client relationships, and serve as a senior, trusted partner to our clients. This is a new role created by performance and growth. This role is responsible for the health of our client relationships, the performance of our account management team, and the consistent delivery of value across our client base. You’ll work at the intersection of client service, operations, and analytics—ensuring results are understood, communicated clearly, and continuously improved.Why this role matters:Our clients entrust Phytest with a critical part of their business. This role exists to ensure every client relationship is managed with care, clarity, and accountability, while also building a high-performing account management team. You’ll set the standard for how we engage with clients, guide your team through change, and ensure Phytest remains a reliable, proactive partner over the long term.What you’ll own:·      Account management leadership Lead, mentor, and develop the client account management team. Set expectations, establish best practices, and provide coaching to ensure consistent, high-quality client experiences across all accounts. Serve as an escalation point for complex client needs and help your team navigate challenging situations with confidence and professionalism.·      Client relationships & communication Maintain executive-level relationships with key clients and serve as a direct client manager for other assigned clients. Ensure clients understand their performance, opportunities for revenue growth, and the full value of their partnership with Phytest. Partner with account managers to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for deeper engagement.·      Client onboarding & transition Oversee the handoff from implementation to account management by participating in key kickoff meetings and ensure new clients transition smoothly into ongoing support with clear ownership, communication, and expectations.·      Performance monitoring & reporting Own the cadence and quality of client performance reviews. Ensure account managers are monitoring results, analyzing trends, and proactively communicating insights. Review and guide monthly client account reviews to reinforce value and drive continuous improvement.·      Issue resolution & coordination Partner with internal teams to resolve client questions or issues efficiently. Help prioritize work, align the right resources, track progress, and ensure follow-through so client needs are addressed in a timely and thoughtful way.·      Organization & account management Establish and maintain standards for documentation, client communication, and account management workflows. Ensure client records are accurate and that commitments are tracked and met consistently across the team.You may be a great fit if you have:·      A bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. ·      Ten or more years of proven success in a client account management role, ideally within healthcare with a focus on women’s health or genetics, and preferably in a laboratory environment. ·      A strong understanding of laboratory terminology and workflows. ·      Knowledge of revenue cycle management and payer reimbursement.·      Strong organizational skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. A reputation for integrity, professionalism, and follow-through.
