A leading company in the fashion and retail industry is seeking a Director of Commercial Purchasing with a 360° business vision, capable of integrating strategy, profitability, and operational execution at both national and international levels.Location: Mexico CityWork model: On-siteSchedule: Monday to FridayStrategic RoleThis position reports directly to the General Management and leads the Purchasing, Sourcing, and Import Operations area, ensuring the efficient supply of finished products, raw materials, and textiles for a nationwide retail network. The role combines strategic planning, international negotiation, and budget management, with a strong impact on profitability, efficiency, and brand positioning.We are looking for an executive with solid experience in:Imports and customs: deep knowledge of international trade processes, freight, customs brokers, and regulatory compliance.Supplier negotiation: proven leadership in managing global suppliers (especially in Asia), ensuring compliance, quality, and cost reduction.National and international purchasing: handling finished goods, textiles, and internal/external sourcing.Budget management: controlling margins, optimizing spend, and driving sustainable profitability.Strategic leadership: leading multidisciplinary teams (purchasing, logistics, planning) in coordination with design, production, and finance.Key RequirementsProven experience in international procurement, fashion, or retail consumer goods.Advanced English (mandatory).Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and Power BI.Availability to travel abroad.Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, Administration, or related field.If you have experience leading global purchasing strategies, import operations, and supplier negotiations, this is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact on the commercial performance of a leading company in its category.📩 Interested candidates, please send your resume or message directly
