Summary: The Director of Sales, Distribution Channel is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for the company’s distribution channels, including aftermarket, wholesale, and key distributor accounts. This role will drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market share in the industrial filtration industry. The Director will lead a team of sales professionals, collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Marketing, and serve as the primary liaison with distributor partners to ensure alignment on sales goals and customer needs.Duties/Responsibilities:Develop and implement the distribution sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and channel partners.Identify and pursue new distribution opportunities and partnerships to expand market coverage.Collaborate with Marketing to develop programs, promotions, and campaigns tailored to distributor needs.Monitor sales performance and market trends, providing insights to senior leadership.Negotiate pricing, contracts, and rebate programs with distribution partners.Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure product availability and service levels meet customer expectations.Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.Prepare annual sales budgets and forecasts; manage P&L responsibility for distribution sales channel.Perform Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.10+ years of progressive sales experience managing distribution or channel sales.5+ of experience in the air compressor and/or hydraulic industry.5+ years of supervisor experience managing a sales team.Proven track record of growing sales through distributor and channel relationships.Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and financial metrics to drive decisions.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related fieldExperience in manufacturing, industrial products, automotive aftermarket, or filtration.
