Our core values include a focus on quality, modernity, and creating a positive working environment, as well as engaging in charitable initiatives that benefit the community.Detailed Job Description: Support the CTO towards the implementation of the Engineering expertise to achieve overall strategic and operational plans.Lead the Engineering operations activities, including Projects, Engineering, Calibration and facility management.Lead the development and implementation of new technologies, methodologies and systems to drive innovation through Engineering in product manufacturing.Responsible for Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), commissioning, Installation Qualification & Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ), of GMP facilities and equipment.Establish and develop a comprehensive Maintenance & Operation management system that ensures the correct functioning of Production equipment & Engineering utilities, complying with GMP guidelines.Ensure effective communication and project plan alignment between business stakeholders, users, Facilities Operations, maintenance, site services, security, IT, Procurement, Finance, Legal, HR, and all departments regarding all facilities operations issues.Establish and develop an Engineering reporting system that facilitates easy analysis and interpretation of all engineering equipment data and appropriate actions taken to mitigate risks.Ensure Compliance with Safety norms as per the site's EHS policy.Direct the planning, allocation of resources (physical and human) and oversee the implementation of appropriate process controls and instructions to ensure that all plant production and engineering work is carried out efficiently and cost-effectively.Ensure the application of and adherence to a robust quality management system in engineering functions.Develop and execute the engineering department's strategic plan in alignment with the overall company's goals and objectives, ensuring that engineering efforts are directed towards achieving business results and driving innovation.Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the engineering team, setting clear expectations, motivating and inspiring team members, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Drive engineering excellence by establishing and maintaining best practices, standards, and processes for engineering functions, ensuring that outcome solutions meet or exceed customer requirements and industry standards.Provide professional advice, guidance and support to all levels of the task in the Engineering Functions and ensure continuous improvement so that the Operational Capability of the business is optimisedDefine an optimum organisation structure for the function, so that resources are optimally utilised and communications can be executed in an efficient manner.Identify, recruit, develop and retain qualified professionals to provide technical engineering support to the site.Ensure that the required initial and continuing training of the department personnel is carried out and adapted according to the needs of the organisation in coordination with HR and training.Support the Management team in driving turnaround & growth, with a perspective of doing things better the first time and always.Qualifications: Post-Graduate degree in Engineering or any related scientific discipline.15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Equipment Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, Utility systems (Water, HVAC, Electricity), Operation & Maintenance management systems, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar leadership role.Proven track record of establishing and managing greenfield and brownfield projectsExpertise in GMP regulations and requirements for manufacturing-facility utilities that understanding of cGMP & Quality complianceExperience in the Equipment Installation & Operation Qualifications, as well as Plant commissioning, qualification and validation requirementsExperience in managing OPEX & CAPEX budgets and ensuring projects stay within budget and timeline.Ability to multitask and manage complexity with multiple projects and contacts efficiently.
