Director of Financial Planning & AnalysisHigh-Growth Technology Scale-Up£140,000 – £150,000 + Bonus & EquityCentral London (Hybrid)A high-growth technology scale-up is seeking to appoint a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join its senior leadership team. The company has achieved exceptional growth in recent years and is now entering its next phase of expansion, with a view toward a potential IPO. Reporting directly to the CFO, this newly created role is designed to strengthen the strategic and operational impact of the FP&A function. You will take full ownership of forecasting, planning, performance reporting, and cash forecasting, acting as a trusted partner to the CFO and wider executive team.The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of operating at pace in a complex, data-rich environment. You will be both a hands-on individual contributor and people leader, capable of delivering best-in-class analysis while mentoring and developing a small, high-performing team. The focus will be on building a scalable FP&A framework, improving forecasting accuracy, and driving data-led decision making across the business.Key responsibilities include:Owning group-wide forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.Implementing robust cash forecasting and liquidity planning processes.Partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance financial insight and control.Leading the implementation of a new FP&A tool and ensuring integration with ERP and data infrastructure.Preparing the business for the rigour of a listed environment with investor-grade reporting and controls.We are seeking a qualified accountant with significant experience in a senior FP&A leadership role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment — ideally in technology or digital sectors. Experience within a listed or IPO-ready business is highly desirable.
