Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can't wait.What You Will Be Doing:At Helion, we are building the world’s first fusion power plant to enable a future with unlimited clean electricity. As we scale our technology and operations, the efficient management of inventory across our supply chain and facilities is critical to our success. We are seeking a Director of Inventory & Materials Management to lead our growing inventory and warehouse operations and help establish world-class systems and practices that support rapid production and innovation.You Will:Develop and execute on a long-term roadmap for inventory control and logistics processes to enable high volume productionOversee the receipt, inspection, and safe storage of inbound shipments and materialsLead, coordinate, and mentor cross-functional warehouse and inventory teams to maximize efficiency and accountabilityPartner with Facilities and Production organizations on the selection, design, and development of new warehousesCollaborate with Production Engineering on new factory design and processes that enable low waste, efficient, just-in-time material deliveryMonitor and optimize supply chain and warehouse processes to support production and R&D demandsEnsure accuracy and visibility of inventory through data-driven tracking, reporting, and reconciliationDesign and manage inventory audits and cycle counts, resolving discrepancies and implementing corrective actionsCollaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Facilities teams to forecast inventory needs and maintain optimal stock levelsTake extreme ownership of the development and scaling of Warehouse Management and Logistics enterprise software to enable rapid company growthAbout You:Proven leadership experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech environmentStrong understanding of modern inventory control systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and experience implementing new enterprise software, or improving existing softwareDemonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to balance strategic planning with on-the-ground executionTotal Compensation And BenefitsHelion's compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits. Final compensation is determined through a holistic evaluation of your experience, qualifications, and our commitment to internal equity - ensuring fairness and transparency across our teams.
