Position OverviewThe Director of Marketing for the Copper Solutions Business Unit will play a pivotal role in driving business growth in China for a portfolio of advanced products, including ACC, AEC, Backplane, and Near and On ASIC solutions. This leadership position requires deep expertise in the datacenter and AI industry, strategic planning, and cross-functional team management, with a strong understanding of the Chinese market.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Market Development:Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to accelerate growth in China for the Copper Solutions Business Unit. Identify market opportunities, analyze trends, and position products to meet evolving customer needs.Gather competitive intelligence, customer insights, and market data to inform strategic decisions and refine marketing tactics.Product Portfolio Management:Oversee marketing initiatives for Backplane, and Near and On ASIC products within portfolio with a focus on China growth.Collaborate with product management and engineering to support product launches, messaging, and competitive positioning.Own China pipeline for AEC and ACC products.Business Growth Leadership:Lead efforts to expand market share and revenue in China through targeted campaigns, partnership development, and customer engagement programs. Set and achieve ambitious growth targets.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with sales, product management, engineering, and operations teams to align marketing plans with business objectives and ensure seamless execution.Team Leadership and Development:Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team in China. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.Stakeholder Engagement:Represent the Copper Solutions Business Unit at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings in China. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and influencers.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in relevant field with a proven track record in the technology or electronics sector.Demonstrated success in driving business growth in China for complex product portfolios.Strong leadership, team management, and cross-cultural communication skills.Expertise in digital marketing, demand generation, and product positioning.Fluency in Mandarin and English.Reporting StructureThe Director of Marketing will report to the General Manager of the Enterprise Segment within Copper Solutions Business Unit with dotted line to IO Segment lead for AEC/ACC section of portfolio and work in close partnership with global and regional teams.LocationThis position is based in China with frequent travel required within the region and to headquarters as necessary.At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
