Organization- Hyatt Regency PhuketSummaryJob Title: Director of Sales & Marketing Location: Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To: General Manager Job Summary:The Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) is responsible for leading the Sales & Marketing team to drive revenue, market share, and brand awareness for Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales & marketing plans, fostering strong relationships with key clients, and ensuring the resort achieves its revenue targets.Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development:Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue across all market segments (leisure, corporate, MICE, wholesale, etc.).Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with key accounts, travel agents, and corporate clients.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and exceed expectations.Marketing & Branding:Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, and PR initiatives.Work closely with Hyatt corporate marketing teams to ensure brand standards and marketing initiatives align with global strategies.Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, media partners, and influencers.Analyze marketing campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.Revenue & Strategy:Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing, promotions, and distribution channels.Drive direct bookings through effective digital marketing and brand website optimization.Ensure strong collaboration between Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to enhance guest experience and drive loyalty.Team Leadership & Development:Recruit, train, and mentor the Sales & Marketing team to enhance performance and professional growth.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the department.Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and monitor progress regularly.QualificationsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.Minimum 5-10 years of experience in hotel sales & marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of the Phuket market and key business drivers.Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and increasing market share.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Experience with digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce strategies.Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
