Director of Sales – Hotel & HospitalityWe are looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead our hotel’s sales strategy, drive revenue performance, and strengthen relationships within key market segments. This role will oversee all sales initiatives, manage a high-performing team, and collaborate closely with operations, revenue management, and marketing to maximize occupancy and profit.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve hotel revenue goals across all market segments.Build, lead, and mentor a sales team to ensure productivity, accountability, and strong market execution.Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, travel agencies, and local partners to grow repeat and new business.Work closely with the Marketing team to execute promotions, campaigns, and brand-building activities.Conduct property site tours, attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand market presence.Analyze sales performance metrics and market trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategies.Ensure alignment with hotel operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences for booked groups and events.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.5–8+ years of hotel sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.Strong understanding of hotel market segments, distribution channels, RFPs, and revenue management principles.Proven ability to grow revenue, develop new business, and maintain key client relationships.Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.Proficient in hotel sales systems and revenue reporting platforms.Strong network within the hospitality, travel, and meetings industry is a plus.Results-oriented, strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
