As our merchant base grows in volume and complexity, we’re scaling a dedicated Account Management function for High-Value Merchants (HVMs).This team manages the post-sales relationship with some of our most strategic merchants, acting as trusted advisors focused on retention, commercial growth, and multi-product adoption. You’ll work closely with leading businesses in the DACH region, spanning diverse sectors such as retail, hospitality, wellness, and more.We’re looking for commercially driven, relationship-oriented professionals ready to drive value, uncover opportunities, and contribute to long-term merchant success.What You’ll DoManage a portfolio of High-Value Merchants in the DACH regionBuild long-term relationships with key decision-makers and business ownersConduct structured Business Reviews to assess performance, unlock insights, and identify areas for growthLead commercial conversations focused on business value and product adoptionIdentify and close cross-sell and upsell opportunitiesMonitor merchant health using tools like Salesforce and Tableau, and act proactively on churn signalsCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Support, and Operations to improve the overall merchant experiencePlay a key role in shaping how SumUp supports its largest and most complex merchantsYou’ll be great for this role ifYou have 2–4 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or B2B commercial roles (experience in a fintech environment is a plus)You’re confident managing strategic clients and leading high-impact conversationsYou approach relationships with a consultative mindset, aiming to solve problems and drive mutual valueYou’re comfortable using data to inform decisions and identify commercial opportunitiesYou thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and international environmentYou’re fluent in English and German Why you should join SumUp:🌎Opportunity to work with SumUppers globally on large-scale fintech products used by millions of businesses worldwide, from our Barcelona office.
