Director of Strategic Partnerships

Blair West is supporting a highly innovative physical technology business to find a Strategic Partnerships Director. Having made substantial progress in product efficiency, reliability and durability, the business is now seeking licensing opportunities with major multi-national manufacturing organisations in Japan and other leading international markets. Already in dialogue with several relevant prospective partners, the business is well-positioned to scale substantially.The opportunity:To build upon existing open dialogues with potential manufacturing licensing partners and convert those opportunities into substantial commercial relationships.To work in parallel with the company’s technology development roadmap, ensuring alignment between partner expectations and business capability.To travel internationally, nurturing relationships with long term strategic partners.To establish the business’s positively disruptive technology in the manufacturing processes of leading international organisations.You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:A proven track record of delivering (manufacturing) licensing agreements with multi-national corporate partners.Past working experience in physical technology businesses, potentially in electronics, clean technology or biotechnology.Existing contacts and personal professional networks in relevant – potentially Japanese or American – manufacturing organisations.An enthusiasm for international business travel.The ability to work collaboratively with R&D and manufacturing colleagues.The benefits included with this opportunity:Highly competitive basic salarySubstantial annual bonusShare options incentiveOur commitmentBlair West is an equal-opportunity employer.
