Apply today to learn more!Role: Integral part of the Leadership Team that manages the day to day operations of the Wellness component of the community to ensure the maximum levels of resident functional ability, safety and wellbeing.ResponsibilitiesPerform continuous, ongoing supervision of all wellness department team members, including but not limited to recruiting, retaining, training, disciplining, counseling, motivating, scheduling and evaluating; establishes and builds rapport among team members to facilitate teamwork.Observe patients/residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.; Monitor and record vital signs; Administers prescribed medications, injections, wound care, collect lab samples and other basic medical care tasks; Provides assistance as necessary with activities of daily livingCoordinates and implements regularly scheduled wellness meetings; ensures compliance of Wellness Department relative to federal, state, local and company regulations and policiesMaintain liaison role by ensuring effective communication with other members of the team, residents, families and medical professionalsResponsible for reporting on operation of Wellness Department to ensure continuity of care; keeping department on budget within established guidelines and submits recommendations for budget completion, equipment and suppliesRequirementsLPN (Required)RN (Preferred)BLS Certification (Preferred, not required)Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and proceduresExcellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminologyPerfect physical condition and staminaWhy Juniper?Whether you’re a seasoned leader who is excited to share your expertise, or are looking to grow into your first leadership position, Juniper is a wonderful place to connect your passion with purpose.
