In this role, you will partner closely with clients and internal teams to architect and execute end-to-end digital strategies that span the entire patient and physician journey. You’ll leverage the latest omnichannel technologies—across email, social media, web, mobile apps, CRM integration, and emerging channels—to drive measurable growth, elevate customer engagement, and optimize operational performance for life sciences and healthcare brands.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & TransformationDefine and own the roadmap for digital transformation initiatives, aligning with client business goals, brand objectives, and regulatory requirementsLead change management efforts, securing buy-in from executive sponsors, medical affairs, commercial, and IT stakeholdersEstablish success metrics (e.g., engagement rates, conversion lift, ROI) and ensure ongoing performance tracking and optimizationOmnichannel Campaign Design & DeliveryArchitect integrated campaigns targeting HCPs, patients, payers, and advocacy groups, leveraging channels such as:Personalized email and marketing automation (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua, Salesforce)Social and display advertising (LinkedIn, Facebook, programmatic DSPs)Customized web portals, mobile apps, and patient support platformsVirtual events, webinars, and digital kiosksOversee end-to-end campaign execution: creative briefs, channel selection, content development, media planning, QA, and post-launch analysisData & Analytics StrategyDevelop a healthcare data framework—incorporating CRM (Salesforce Health Cloud/Veeva), DMPs, analytics platforms (PowerBI, Google Analytics, Databricks)—to enable robust audience segmentation, attribution modeling, and real-time optimizationDrive adoption of AI-powered insights (predictive modeling, A/B testing, personalization engines) to refine targeting and maximize budget efficiencyEnsure data governance, security, and HIPAA/PHI compliance across all initiativesClient & Partnership ManagementCultivate and expand strategic relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and med-device clients, serving as a trusted advisor and digital transformation partnerManage external vendors and technology partners (e.g., CMS providers, ad tech vendors, AI platform integrators), negotiating SLAs, budgets, and deliverablesPresent strategic roadmaps, quarterly business reviews, and performance reports to C-suite and cross-functional leadershipTeam Leadership & Talent DevelopmentBuild, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary team of digital strategists, campaign managers, data analysts, UX designers, and technologistsFoster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation (e.g., innovation labs, hackathons), and best-practice sharingDefine clear career paths, conduct performance reviews, and identify growth opportunitiesThought Leadership & Industry EngagementStay at the forefront of digital and life-science trends—AI in healthcare, omnichannel orchestration, patient-centric engagement—and translate them into actionable strategiesRepresent Klick at industry conferences, advisory boards, and peer forums; publish white papers or case studies demonstrating our transformational impactMonitor evolving regulatory guidelines (FDA, HIPAA, GDPR) and ensure all digital activities adhere to compliance standardsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred8+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare digital transformation, commercial strategy, or management consultingProven track record of designing and delivering large-scale omnichannel campaigns for pharmaceutical or biotech clients, with demonstrable KPI improvements (e.g., increased patient starts, improved HCP engagement, cost per acquisition reductions)Deep understanding of the life-sciences commercial process—from market access and payer negotiations to field force enablement and post-launch supportExpertise in healthcare data strategy, martech stacks (CRM, DMP, MAP), and analytics tools; hands-on experience with platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce Health Cloud, Marketo, or similarExceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, present complex analyses clearly, and drive consensus across global teamsStrong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for multimillion-dollar programsDemonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization, juggling multiple projects with competing prioritiesFamiliarity with industry regulations governing digital marketing in healthcare (e.g., FDA promotion regulations, HIPAA privacy rules)Nice-to-HaveExperience with AI/ML-driven personalization engines or decision-support tools in a commercial healthcare settingBackground in patient journey mapping, real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives, or digital therapeuticsDisclaimer: Klick uses an AI-powered tool as part of an automated process to support our hiring process by analyzing your experience, skills, and qualifications to help identify alignment with role requirements.
