(Ambitious? 💪 Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here)About The Role(Hybrid)We’re hiring a Director, People Partner to raise the bar for strategic and human-centred partnerships across Skyscanner.From org design and workforce planning to performance, succession and culture, you’ll lead the HRBP strategy, setting standards and unblocking the complex issues with informed judgment.You’ll directly partner with our executives while leading People Partners, who each support specific business areas and their leadership teams.You can be based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Barcelona or London, where we adopt a hybrid working policy of working in the office twice a week.What You'll Be DoingSet the HRBP strategy: Co-create and deliver a People Partnering strategy aligned to business priorities and our traveller-first mission. Lead & grow the team: Coach and develop a high-performing group of People Partners, building a strong craft community and clear standards for exec-level support. Be a strategic partner to Execs: Build solid relationships with executives while enabling the People Partners to be a trusted advisor to their Execs and leadership teams. Drive organisational design & workforce planning: Facilitate organisational reviews, capability mapping, and scenario planning with Finance to ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time. Elevate performance, growth & succession: Land performance cycles, career frameworks and succession plans; turn feedback and data into targeted growth actions for leaders and teams. Steer change & culture: Lead people-centric change and translate engagement insights into action. Decide with data: Partner with People Analytics and People Ops to track org health, DEI, attrition and productivity; tell compelling data stories that move decisions forward. About YouSeasoned people leader: You’ve led HRBP/People Partner teams in fast-paced, product-led or matrixed organisations and know how to set strategy. Exec-level influencer: You partner with senior leaders with clarity and empathy. Org design & change expert: You bring depth in org effectiveness, workforce planning and change management, and you communicate complexity. Data-driven & outcomes obsessed: You love metrics and experiments as much as stories; you translate insights into action (and action into measurable impact). Operator with range: From talent strategy to employee-relations risk, you’re comfortable setting direction and rolling up sleeves to get things done right. Global mindset: You’re comfortable working with diverse cultures and mindsets, making pragmatic and scalable choices for a distributed and hybrid workforce.
