Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic Director to lead our Process Innovation efforts at Sands China, an iconic integrated resort known for its commitment to excellence and innovation. This role is pivotal in driving innovation to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. We welcome global applicants and offer relocation support for the right candidate. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and Coordinate Innovation Efforts: Spearhead the development and delivery of innovative solutions, from time-and-motion studies to product launches, ensuring operational effectiveness and efficiency. Team Leadership: Guide and motivate a team of Innovation Engineers, Process Engineers, Data Engineers, and other professionals.
Foster strategic alignment with business priorities and enhance cross-functional collaboration. Process Optimization: Analyze business-unit processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Prioritize projects based on their potential impact and value. Collaborate Widely: Work closely with the Global Innovation Team and other departments within Sands China to integrate innovative practices. Facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices across teams and with Las Vegas Sands. Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to business units, ensuring that innovation efforts align with overall business goals and contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Innovation Roadmaps:
Develop and maintain a roadmap for process innovation, incorporating feedback and lessons learned to guide future projects. Key RequirementsExperience: At least 10 years of experience in managing large-scale programs or complex projects, with a preference for backgrounds in business administration, mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, or scientific disciplines. Equivalent experience in related fields will also be considered. Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; however, candidates with a strong professional background who demonstrate equivalent experience will be considered. Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, evolving environments and to work effectively within matrix organizations. Collaborative Skills:
Experience in driving process improvements and launching new products or services, demonstrating the ability to work across departments and with external partners. Leadership and Communication: Exceptional project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
