You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles.A Brief OverviewThe Director, Program Management, is responsible for the successful delivery of a large, high-velocity portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional team and work very closely with our internal business partners to deliver business outcomes and strategic alignment, execution governance, and measurable business impact. The role requires the candidate to be delivery-focused, with the ability to manage all aspects of a project portfolio, including resource planning, financial management, and reporting, as well as stakeholder relationship management.The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where personal responsibility and open, direct, respectful communications are essential. This role supports the VP of Trinet, India by establishing transformation governance frameworks, managing risks, tracking performance, and enabling cross-functional collaboration to optimize execution. This individual will work closely with value stream leads, program managers, and stakeholders across the organization to ensure transformation initiatives deliver on their objectives. This role will also be responsible for the business transformation team in India and support the functional business transformation head in the US.What You Will DoEnsure customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality project management services and implementation services across a large portfolio of projects.Monitor performance of team members and provide timely feedback and development support.Manage resource assignments and staffing levels, including recruitment as needed.Ability to drive programmatic control of a portfolio of projects.Develop senior-level relationships with partners.Identify and implement improvements to the processes and tools used in the project management practice area.Share the voice of our customers across the organization and be a champion for improved customer experiences.Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team.Establish and cultivate a center of excellence of standards and best practices for project and program management.Set performance targets, monitor staff performance, and complete performance reviews.Support and drive change management initiatives to increase teamwork and collaboration.Foster teamwork, communication, and collaboration amongst staff members; championing TriNet’s culture, vision and missionSet standards for project management capabilities, including certifications and qualifications for Project Managers, success measurement criteria, methodologies, tools to be used, etc.Oversee the delegation of work to Project Coordinators, Project Managers, Program Managers and ensure proper communication and coordination with technology scrum teams.Manage the risk, issue and portfolio change management process, and work with other leaders to take corrective action as needed.Serve as dotted line leader to various technical, professional, and/or administrative personnel engaged in specified project activities, across multiple sites as appropriate to the position.Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.Performs other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsEducation QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience requiredExperience QualificationsTypically 15+ years Hands on project experience required andTypically 5+ years Direct management experience preferredSkills And AbilitiesDemonstrates ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Proven success in providing leadership and ability to garner support from direct reports, peers, and colleagues in other departments.Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.Capable of applying a full understanding of project and program management methodologies to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.Licenses and CertificationsAgile, PMP or any project methodology certifications preferredAny Portfolio Management certifications are helpful preferredTravel RequirementsMinimal TravelWork EnvironmentWork in a clean, pleasant, and comfortable office work setting.
