This includes: Sales, Business Development, forecasting, contracting and AR management, Customer quality Management, Carmaker Mgt. What You Will Do:As Leader, Regional Sales Japan you will serve as the leader of the Lumileds Japan LED Sales organization driving revenue growth. As Managing Director of the Japanese entity, you will lead the broader Japanese team locally including functions as Finance and Supply Chain Management.You will identify, engage, and build relationships with the wide spectrum of customers in the Automotive, General Illumination and Specialty industry including, but not limited to car manufacturers, automotive tier 1s, lighting OEMs, system integrators and distributors.Manage the Japanese distributor and sales representative partner network based on revenue growth plans with clear target setting and periodic business reviews.Develop and execute detailed market and account strategies for targeted customers and measure success. Sell our entire Lumileds product portfolio from LEDs to system solutions. Identify and translate Customer requirements into future internal product roadmap decisions. Define long-term partnership proposals and influence customer's future product planning decisions to recommend or specify Lumileds technology and/or products to customers for targeted applications. Understand, maintain, and distribute key customer information, including trends, platform programs, SAM/TAM by system/module/product, system architecture, and organization structure. Secure long-term customer commitment through relationship management at the executive level and relevant decision makers at the customer. What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):10+ years of full cycle sales enterprise selling. Experience in both Automotive and General Lighting strongly desired. Experience with leading, coaching and managing a team effectively. 5+ years management experience in technology-based sales and marketing, including executive selling. Experience with managing sales representatives and a distributor network.The ability to deliver compelling “teaching conversations” that are well tailored to each prospect’s situation. The ability to take control of opportunities and propose next actions, to move them productively forward. The ability to maintain a focus on validating the details of deals, to ensure they can be effectively executed. Experience with selling to the C-suite (all lines of business). Excellent assertiveness and decision-making skills.Ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural global team.Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills Strategic thinking and actingLocal Travel required: 30% Speaks Native Japanese language, very proficient in the English language Education (Minimum Level) Master'sField of StudyBusiness or TechnicalYears of Experience (Minimum) 10+ yearsLumileds is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
